VLCC Papaya Fruit Facial Kit: Fruit Facial at Home!

When I was new to the world of skincare, I tried a lot of VLCC products. I remember having tried a fruit facial pack from it and loving the results. I didn’t re-purchase most of the products but the one product I keep coming back to is this VLCC papaya fruit facial kit. For me, it’s one of the best VLCC products in India. My experience with VLCC papaya fruit facial kit:

Keep realistic expectations from facial kits and you should love them! Don’t make the skincare mistakes even I made as a beginner. No, it will not lighten your blemishes. No, it will not make your complexion lighter than your original tone. No, it’s not going to make you glow like a 1000 watts bulb. Will it actually brighten up your face after you’re done with the whole procedure? Oh yes!

This is why I keep coming back to it. It actually brightens my skin and the effect lasts for 2-3 days in the polluted city I live in. This facial kit suits my oily acne prone skin and has never caused any pimples. I have tried the other variants too in the past but this has to be the best VLCC facial kit for oily and tanned skin.  Also, I get 2 uses out of this kit. After opening the satchets, I store the contents in small containers I have. Awesome, right?

Papaya pre-facial cleanser and toner

I apply it on my face and neck and use upward and small circular motions to massage it. It takes me five minutes to do this whole process. Most of the product is absorbed in my skin till that time. Lay extra emphasis on the sides of the nose and chin area to get the dirt out. Afterwards, I wipe off the whatever little product left using a moist cotton.

Papaya seed scrub

This is the only one component in this facial kit I don’t like. The reason being it’s quite thick in consistency with a lot of harsh beads. I skip it and instead use Kama ayurveda cleanser which acts as an amazing scrub too.

Papaya white cucumber extract gel

This cucumber gel feels very refreshing in summer. It has camphor and cucumber extracts which offer a cooling sensation on the face. I use it in a massaging manner and it feels so relaxing.

Papaya peach massage cream

This peach massage cream has a medium-thick consistency. When I used it for the first time, I was scared because I thought it might cause breakouts on my skin. But nothing of that sort happened. I think this consistency is important to have a good massage process on the skin. If the formula is thin, it will get absorbed instantly. This step takes me around 10 minutes. Sometimes, even more. It depends on how much energy I have that day 😛

Papaya orange anti tan pack

After using the peach massage cream, I wait for 5 minutes and then, use this anti tan pack. During this time, I put on my cooling eye mask gel and ah! It’s blissful!

Papaya oil free moisturizing gel

This is the last step in this facial kit. This gel has a light-weight consistency and gets absorbed into the skin completely without a lot of efforts. The perfect way to end the facial!

I always end up uttering these words after using this kit: Maza aa gaya! 😀

Summary:

VLCC papaya fruit facial kit is an affordable facial kit in India for oily-combination skin. It comes at a price of Rs.250 and the fact that I derive 2 uses out of it makes it even more pocket-friendly. It works on my sensitive, acne prone skin perfectly. The only content I avoid in this kit is the papaya seed scrub as I find it to be harsh. Otherwise, I love it!
