The ultimate nude lipstick post for Indian skin tones

Hola guys!

Now, if you know me even for the shortest bit of time, you will know that I heart nude lipsticks. The shades might look similar to many but nude lip lovers like me would know all about the difference- the difference that totally matters to us.

I made a post on top nude lipsticks for Indian skin tones sometime back. After that, I tried more and therefore, decided to come up with ‘the ultimate nude lipstick post for Indian skin tones’. You guys too agreed to it on an Instagram poll.

Since I made this article keeping different skin tones in mind, remember that a lipstick which looks dark on me might be someone else’s perfect nude shade. Most lip colors have a mix of pink, peach, rose, brown and terracotta undertones.

Some lipsticks have been blurred here because they have a bad-average quality and I included them by mistake here.

Also, I suggest you take this post as more of a reference and try shades in stores before buying them.

My two all-time favourite nude lip shades are:

Revlon ultra HD matte lip colour ‘Seduction’

NYX slim lip liner ‘Nude Beige’ on top of Colourpop satin lip ‘Echo Park’

Some unorganized thoughts:

– Go for Iba Halal long stay matte lipstick ‘Pure Nude’ only if your skintone is NC30 or less and you’re used to wearing nude lipsticks. It’s not a concealer looking shade on my skin tone however it did take me 3-4 times to warm up to that shade. The sole reason being it’s the lightest nude shade I have ever tried.

– When Revlon ultra HD matte lip color ‘Seduction’ wears off, weirdly my lips look pink. Yes! So, it’s kind of a very long wear lip colour.

– If you are still unable to find your perfect nude lipstick, mix and match.

– Try Blue Heaven liquid lip ‘Pure nude’ only if your skintone is around NC20. On me, it looks pale. Top that with its ultra matte finish.

– That CAL one is a pwettyyy shade but I just cannot stand the smell.
