MyGlamm total makeover FF cream 5 in 1: Review, Swatches
Be it any weather, my heart has always been with liquid foundations. I own like just 2-3 compact foundations and adding another one didn’t seem a very good idea. Most of these compact foundations make my face look cakey without proper prep and the only kind of cake I like is the one topped with real strawberries.

Ahem! Let’s get back to reviewing a new compact foundation- MyGlamm total makeover FF cream 5 in 1 in shade “Medium”
Product description:
A 24-hour wear, oil-free foundation and concealer in one that achieves a flawless look that lasts all day- MyGlamm total makeover FF cream 5 in 1.
An all-in-one foundation with a long-lasting formula that fuses primer and foundation in one easy step! An amazing combination product for a flawless base that provides sheer to full buildable coverage. It includes a primer that prolongs wear for impeccable results. Also in the palette are two color correctors, yellow and orange, to smooth away small imperfections, uneven skin tone, discolorations and dark circles. Our precisely calibrated advanced European formula allows the product to melt into your skin while highlighting and correcting the complexion all at the same time.
My experience with MyGlamm total makeover FF cream 5 in 1:
The packaging looks luxe! The golden metal flip has a mirror like finish and the body is white in color at the bottom. The mirror inside is huge so that you can easily use it even while travelling. Also, no worries with spillage which is a major plus if you’re a frequent traveller.
The brands claims this to be a 5-in-1 product by saying that the foundation works as a primer as well as compact. A bit codswallop in my opinion.
The texture for each product differs in MyGlamm total makeover FF cream 5 in 1. While the concealer and foundation have a smooth and blendable texture, I find it difficult to blend the corrector using just my fingers. It has a certain amount of stiffness to it (even more in chilly weather) which makes it vital for me to use a damp sponge to blend it out completely and evenly.
As for the foundation, it has a buildable coverage up to medium intensity. It’s best to work with it in layers. A single layer will allow the natural skin to shine through while still disguising imperfections. I was expecting it to do something for my pores given the primer claims but it didn’t. The foundation sunk into the larger pores on the sides of my nose and made my dry flakes look even more apparent. I first started using it in winter and it didn’t apply well on my skin. With the change in weather, my skin has gone back to being oily. I tested it for a week and found that it applied well, blended properly and when set with powder, wore for long. Oil control is also impressive as my face didn’t look like a disco-ball even after 5 hours. I didn’t use a blotting sheet during that time-period. There was definitely some oil peeking through but it gave that “second-skin” like finish. I didn’t face any break-outs while wearing it during that week. It was the only new product I was using.

That said, I couldn’t afford to test it further as the shade started to oxidize on me. The shade is two times darker than my skin tone in the first place. Such a bummer!
As for the corrector and concealer, the combination is a winning duo for my skin tone. The formula isn’t too thick and a little goes a long way for me. The orange corrector isn’t very strong but works well for my medium intensity dark circles. Next, I follow up with my foundation and then, the yellow-toned concealer to cover it. My under-eye area truly brightens. To avoid emphasizing skin texture, do apply a moisturizer/eye cream beneath. Also, I make sure to set this duo with powder. Most of the times, I just use the yellow-toned concealer beneath my foundation and love the result.

In pictures here, I have used only the corrector and concealer so that you can see the difference. For eyebrows, I have used MyGlamm Stay Defined 2 in 1 Liquid Eyeliner + HD Brow Powder.
Summary:
In spite of the variety in shades and false primer claim, MyGlamm total makeover FF cream 5 in 1 isn’t a total letdown. The corrector needs more work in comparison with the foundation and concealer. But when blended properly and set with powder, I see this working well for oily-combination skin. Only if you’re able to get your perfect match!
I would also like to applaud this brand for its awesome points scheme and other offers. Not just I got their nail polish for just Rs.88 by utilizing the points on my first purchase but I also got their chubby lip color free on my first purchase which was over Rs.2000. Our drugstore brands definitely need to learn a thing or two.
