Summer lipsticks for Indian skin: Check out my top 15!

Can’t believe it’s almost the beginning of summer i.e. the torture season! I know it’s the extroverted season of salt in hair, barbecues, beaches and strappy sandals for many but for me it’s just a sweaty endurance test that goes for months. The only good thing is ice-cream! Slurp!

And of course.. lipsticks!

So, today I’m sharing with you 15 summer lipsticks for Indian skin!

Maybelline velvet matte lipstick ‘MAT4’: Not a velvet matte finish but rather a creamy lip color that stays for surprisingly long! I love to use it as a blush too.

Revlon Ultra HD matte lip color ‘Seduction’: It is a beautiful peachy-pink that goes with just about any makeup look. A weird thing about it is that after the color wears down, I’m left with a bright pink stain on my lips. Honestly, I’m not complaining as my lips aren’t left colorless but it is strange.

Lakme absolute lip pout matte lip tint ‘Victorian Rose’: A “not-in-your-face” red! I wear this alone as well as a base under my other lipsticks (not necessarily red).

Colorbar velvet matte lipstick Bare: A rose *ude that shows a lot of peachy undertones on my skin. To see how it looks on a dark skin tone, check this post on office wear lipsticks for dark skin in India. One of the many versatile summer lipsticks for Indian skin.

Colorbar matte touch lipstick ‘Fairytale’: If there’s a little part of you that’s not sure can rock bold shades, give this one a try. I absolutely love this shade (the name too!). I featured this one even in everyday lipsticks, Part-3. Although I doubt if this will suit deeper skin tones.

Faces Glam on Lipstick ’04, Barely There’: A peachy pink. Given the light shade and comfortable texture, it still stays for 3-4 hours easily. The best part is that it fades evenly!

CAL Los Angeles intense matte lipstick ‘Hollywood Pink’: I don’t often go for neon shades but when I do I make sure that when they wear off, they don’t look awkward! This one fits the bill perfectly! It doesn’t turn crumbly and leaves a stain behind even after the color has worn down!

Givenchy Rouge Interdit Vinyl Lipstick ’08, Orange Magnetique’: This is not my first high-end lipstick purchase but trust me when I say this is the only one which feels like a luxury on lips. It has a feather like light-weight consistency and never feels/looks drying and never turns patchy. And ooh! This also makes my lips look plump. If you have a lot of lip lines, you need to try this one out. It’s bright warm orange in a sheer-medium finish. The packaging.. *_* You can see me wearing it HERE.

Avon Ultra Color Indulgence Lipstick Peach Petunia: A coral pink that’s an everyday bright lip color.

Elle18 color pop matte lipstick ‘Let’s Tango’: A coral orange in a creamy matte finish.

Streetwear color rich ultra moisture lipstick ‘Persian Blush’: Love wearing this blue based bright pink in a blotted manner.

Makeup Revolution lip hug lipstick ‘I think you’re amazing’: Not gonna lie; this lipstick is actually amazing! It’s a gorgeous peachy brown and one of my all-time favourites. The formula is moisturizing and needs a touch-up after some 3-4 hours, depending on what you eat/drink.

NYX matte lipstick ‘Shocking Pink’: A traffic-stopping bright purple pink which stays, stays and stays!

NYX lip liner pencil “860, Peekaboo Neutral”: This is one of “my most reached for lip colors” and I’m on my second one right now. I just can’t stop reaching for this gorgeous brownish pink shade in matte finish. However, not the best formula to wear alone if you have dry lips.
