Choosing a bronzer that helps you fake that sun-kissed glow and not make you look muddy is a real difficult task. Obviously, getting the right one is not enough as proper application is also a must to get that golden glow. Luckily, I came across this Makeup Revolution iconic pro blush bronze and brighten palette Rave. I purchased it some 5-6 months back and have made a lot of use out of it. I’ve been reaching for the bronzer shade mostly and surprised to see that I still haven’t hit the pan.
My experience with Makeup revolution iconic pro blush bronze and brighten palette Rave:
Packaging: The palette comes packed in a black cardboard box which contains the details like ingredients, expiry date, shade, weight, etc. The actual palette is glossy black with the product name mentioned on it in metallic golden letters. It has a mirror attached inside so that you can touch-up on the go. The lid shuts down perfectly every time. All in all, wonderful packaging! The compact size makes it ideal for keeping in handbag.
Texture: All three have a very soft texture and don’t feel chalky with the exception of the blush. It’s not bad but it’s a bit stiff. When I bought this palette, it was a humid weather. I had apprehensions about the formula turning hard in the cooler months but that didn’t happen. Yay! All of them blend properly.
Pigmentation: To start with, the blush has an awesome color pay-off in one swipe only. It’s very easy to end up with clownish cheeks with it. It’s best to dip the brush in it very lightly, dust off the excess and then, apply it. This way you can control the intensity. Both the bronzer and highlighter start off as sheer but are easily buildable.
Lasting power: I first wore them in summers when I had a super oily skin. With a primer and proper base below, the blush lasted for over 6 hours (wow!) with some fading but the bronzer had vanished after some 3 hours. So, I had to touch-up. However, it’s a different story in this weather. The bronzer stays for much longer. That said, the blush performs better as compared to the bronzer.
Also, I’m happy that the bronzer does not turn dark.
Shades: I think the key to not looking orangey with a bronzer is choosing the right one according to your skin tone and not going beyond 2 shades deeper than your skin tone. Perhaps this is the reason why this bronzer gives a natural glow on my fair olive skin tone. It has this golden undertone which deposits the right amount of warmth and contains extremely finely milled shimmers that translate to a lovely satin-sheen finish. This shade should suit fair-fair medium skin tone. The blush is a peachy pink matte color and the highlighter is a warm champagne shade which is very subtle.
How I use: I like to wear the bronzer alone as well as with the blush in this palette. I love teaming it with the other blushes I own. The result is softly sculpted cheeks. To use this bronzer, I take a fluffy brush, dip it in the pan lightly, dust off the excess before putting it on my face. I move from temples to cheekbones. After that, I apply it a little down my neck too.

Summary:
Makeup revolution iconic pro blush bronze and brighten palette Rave is one wonderful pick to look alive in winters as it brings that warm vibrancy to face. Since the bronzer starts off as sheer, it’s perfect and even more so for anyone who is new in the bronzer department.
