L’oreal Moist Matte Lipstick “Cherry Crush” Review and Swatches

in Lips, Lipstick, Reviews on 31/03/15

I reviewed “Flaming kiss” shade from this range HERE and mentioned how much I loved the formula. I was expecting the same from this shade too but I’m a bit disappointed.
Product description:
A lipstick that delivers intense moisture while providing a velvet matte finish. Colour Riche Moisture Matte’s unique formula contains jojoba oil for unrivaled moisture and comfort along with matte gel technology to create an intense matte look.
My experience with “L’Oreal Moist Matte Lipstick Cherry Crush”:
The packaging is gorgeous, with a coloured button at the middle. It helps in identification of the shade easily. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick.
Cherry crush is a light pink colour with warm undertones. It’s a muted yet a subtle bright shade to liven up the face. The texture is lightweight but a little dry as compared to “Flaming kiss” shade. Application of lip balm beneath is a must if I want a neat finish with this lipstick. Otherwise, it clings to the dry bits. Apart from that, it stays on for more than 3+ hours with light snacks in between. It does wear off from the middle a bit but most of the colour is still left on my lips. It does not stain. Application certainly is not a breeze here for the bucks I paid.
You can skip this shade if you suffer from dry lips because it gets a bit high maintenance then.

After reading your comment, I googled about this and I'm shocked! :O There are so many complaints with regard to the breaking and melting of the bullet. Gosh! :-/
Really Unfair and especially for the price they come at.
