Year 2014 had some great makeup launches in our Indian market. But as I have said before, nothing wins my heart more than affordable products with real good quality. And, so is what todays’ post is about. All the products included here are under Rs.500 and they perform really well.
1) Maybelline color show glitter nail polish: These are packed with solid glitter and get fully opaque within two coats only. The shades are gorgeous. They dry fast and wear for long. Review HERE. Price: Rs.125
2) Maybelline color sensational glam lip polish: I have three of these. They are a little thick but which is why they stay for long. The shades range from everyday to bright ones. Review HERE. Price: Rs.450
3) L’oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipstick: I was so happy when these were launched since I love sheer lipsticks. They have a very smooth texture, are moisturizing and fill in lip lines. Now, I want to buy more shades! Hmmmm..Ahem! Review HERE. Price: Rs.499
4) Maybelline Colossal Turquoise Kajal: An eyeliner can be winning in my eyes only when it doesn’t transfers on my eyelids. The shade is gorgeous, the texture is smooth and it just does not budge. It stains mildly but nothing a remover can’t take care of. Review HERE. Price: Rs.499
5) Maybelline Hyperglossy liquid eyeliner: I have emptied more than 6 bottles of this. The real surprise came when Maybelline launched coloured shades in it. The gorgeous shades are a treat. Review HERE. Price: Rs.275
6) Avon ultra color lipstick: I have two shades from this range. These are again sheer finish lipsticks. They are creamy, moisturizing and last decently for around 2 hours. Plus, the packaging is pretty. Review HERE. Price: Rs.360
7) L’oreal Paris rouge caresse shine stain: I have 3 shades from this range. My most used or should I say, abused shades are “Bella” and “Venus”. While one is bright, the other is a light everyday pink shade. I LOVE THEM. They are juicy and long-lasting. In fact, I have re-purchased them. I finished them off so soon. I’ll post a review of the other two shades soon. Review HERE. Price: Rs.499
8) Oriflame Lip addict lipstick: From texture to finish to pigmentation, it’s really good. It’s a balm like lipstick and stays for 3+ hours. Review HERE. Price: Rs.169
9) Streetwear Color rich ultra moisture lipstick: Streetwear shocked us with these beauties! The packaging is fun and the quality is surprisingly good for the price. *Please don’t increase the prices, Streetwear* I so wish they introduce everyday wear subtle shades in this range. Please! Review HERE and HERE. Price: Rs.180
10) Streetwear Color Rich mega shine lip gloss: I have “Ruby Dazzle” shade which is beautiful! It has a comfortable texture, glossy finish and stays for 2+ hours. This too is at its finishing stage. Review HERE. Price: Rs.150
11) Streetwear Color Rich perfection compact: A big, beautiful compact with mirror and good quality sponge inside. The texture is soft and doesn’t get cakey. I have been using it a lot these winters. Although it’s not very good at controlling oil. I wish there were more shades in it. Review HERE. Price: Rs.160
Part-2 will mostly include base products. What budget makeup products you loved in 2014? I will love to note them down in my list.

Ahaha! 😛
You mean Rouge Caresse Lipstick or Stain? Coz I'm aware that many have a love-hate relationship with the l'oreal lip stains.
I agree! I seriously wish Streetwear launches more shades in them *_*
