NYX Round Lipgloss “Queen of Africa”: Say Hello To Winters!

in Lip gloss, Lips, Reviews on 14/12/14

Yay!
Winters are finally here in Delhi!

I need to take out my new boots, clean them, hunt for the perfect bow boots this season (and, look HERE what  I found while searching for them! OMG!OMG!), take out my coats and jacket and OMG! I can now wear my newly found perfect biker jacket! More on that later! And ooh! I so wish I could wear my favorite winter lipsticks tomorrow morning but alas! I can’t! Office environment doesn’t allows that. But I can paint my nails dark! Huahaha!

Anyhow,
moving on this lipgloss..  Ahem!

This is one of the shades for me that looks dangerous in tube but comes out as such a pretty shade on the lips.
–            NYX Round lipgloss comes in a plain tube packaging with a slanted sponge tip applicator.
–            The texture of the lipgloss is very much non-sticky which is why non-lipgloss lovers may find it really easy to wear.
–            The fragrance of the lipgloss is really light and non-detectable for me unless I bring the tube close to my nose.
–            The shade is quite pigmented. You can wear it lightly as well as heavily. I personally like to wear it as a lighter shade. It looks like a light purplish pink shade, which I can easily wear for everyday.
–            “Queen of Africa” is a purple shade with blue shimmers.
–            The application goes even and doesn’t turn blotchy with time.
–            I get around 2 hour wear time with this, which is pretty good considering it’s a very non-sticky lipgloss.

*I took this picture 3 months back when my lips were extremely dry due to acne treatment*

*And, this is how it looks on me. It’s deeper in real than how it looks in the picture.*

Price: 3$
Quantity: 2.5ml
VCB Rating: 4.75/5

*Do you wear such shades? Which is your favourite winter lipstick? Do Share!*
