My Experience:
I am a big fan of sheer lipsticks and tinted lip balms. I have finished only two full coverage lipsticks till date but I finish sheer lipsticks and lip balms very fast! And, therefore, I thought of trying these.
As you can see, these chubby sticks come in a pretty crayon packaging. These chubby sticks have a twist up mechanism, so no product wastage!
The shade “Mega Melon” is a very pretty peach shade with micro gold shimmers that are responsible for the lovely sheen on the lips.
The texture is very silky and glides onto the lips easily. The bullet is not fragile like the Oriflame Lip Crayon, which I have reviewed HERE. It does moisturize dry lips nicely but when it wears down, I again reach for my lip balm. The coverage is sheer-medium for my non-pigmented lips but for pigmented lips, the coverage is going to be sheer. The finish is a lip balm like but with a little more pigment and sheen. Although not glossy! It stays for around just 1 hour and wears down unevenly. Sigh! I’ll finish this till the next week for sure!

I wanted to buy “Chunky Cherry” shade from this range too! It’s so pretty and the shade just looks like “Nivea Cherry Lip Balm.” But now considering the low staying power, I think now I’ll hunt for a similar shade in MAC Sheen lipsticks. Hmmm.. Decisions! Decisions!

I know this is a cult product and I might be mobbed for saying this, I really do not see a point in purchasing a product which I could otherwise have by dabbing on a lipstick and topping up with a lip balm!
