This is my second tube of this concealer. I find it really good for summers!
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer comes in a pen form. You need to twist up the bottom cap like a lipstick and the concealer comes out of the fan brush.
For the first time, I twisted it 87 times (Yes, I was counting!). After that, I need to twist it 4-5 times to let the concealer come out.
The consistency of the concealer is light and creamy. I use a different brush to blend the concealer on my under eye area. I need two clicks to cover both my eyes (upper and lower) and blends nicely.
I find it really good for summers since it dries to a dry finish (not stubborn matte finish). I have oily under eye area, so it’s quite good for that. The coverage is medium. Although those who have a lot of eye pigmentation, will need a corrector before using this. The effect is naturaland I also pat on transparent powder on top of it. The effect stays for a good 6-7 hours with minimal fading. Although, the creasing can be seen!
I choose the shade “Honey“. Honey has got quite yellow undertones and looks quite good on my skin tone. The other two shades were quite light and had too much of pink undertones! Shade selection is very bad!
And, the main part is that there’s no luminous finish with this. Sigh!
In winters, I make sure to pat on under eye cream before I use this.

And yes, the shade selection is very poor..

Concealer always don't work for me!! currently I use the Collection 2000 Concealer.
I am gonna try this Heena!!
I was planning to buy this, good that you posted a review about it
I want this. Can it be used on acne marks? Currently i m using colorbar stick n beyu concealer. Loving them a lot♥♥♥
Lovely review dear ! This concealer is always in my makeup bag … In fact sometimes I just apply this concealer and translucent powder and Im good to go !
Thanks Raj!:)
Hmmm..Thanks!
Hope You Like It Too!:)
Don't Work For You? Why?
Collection 2000 concealer is not available in India, na?
Thanks Asmitha!:)
It is.. But I Wish It Wasn't That Expensive!
Meghz, It Can Be Used on Acne Marks Since It Doesn't Highlights/Illumnates.. But You Know my Super Sensitive Skin na.. S
So, I just Use it on my eye area and on center of nose
Colorbar Concealer Requires a Lot Of Blending Time on My problematic Skin.. So, I Mostly Don't Use It :-s
Beyu Concealer? Review Please! 😀
Yea.. It's Quite a Handy Product! 😀
I am gonna join the club here and say I have been eyeing this for long 😛 No, seriously I was. But was confused about the color selection as it was OOS at the store so I didn't get a chance to match the shade in person. You solved my dilemma Heena. Honey, it is 🙂
ROTFL! I was really noticing the same, Preeti ..
You Are The 5th Person To Say That! 😛
OOS means Out of Stock?
have heard this is excellent and your review confirms it. too bad about the shade selection though, will keep my eye out for Honey. lovely pictures. liked the swatch.
I need to try this! the shade looks pretty good match!
Yea.. It Would Work Well Across Fair-Medium Skin Tones!
Yea.. I find this very shade versatile for Indian skin tones n that too across fair-medium categories..
Thanks a Ton!:)
Nice review dear .. seems a great product 🙂 Lovely pix <3
Lol Twisted 87 times! 🙂
It's good to see that the shade Honey has yellow tones so that it can match our skin tone better while hiding circles and doesn't look ashy!!
I was wondering does it cover old acne scars though?
Not Fully But in a Presentable form, Yes!
Although it's staying power is not so gr8 on oily skin.. you can try though!:)
Nice Review Henna 🙂 somehow it didn't suit me 🙁
Gahhh! I have oily skin 🙁 actually combination, but mostly oily. I'll still give it a go, I guess!
On q/s: BB cream or this one for acne scars?
For red acne scars like mine, I first use a green concealer to neutralize redness n then a regular concealer.. but only on full makeup days!
I would Go with BB Cream!:)
Thanks!:)
It's The Only Shade That Has Yellow U/Ds
Yea.. Right!:)
Coz of The Shade, I Guess?
Ah! then BB cream it is!
