The Importance of Puff in Makeup

in Others, Tips and Tricks on 13/07/13

A good quality puffis very important in my summer makeup routine. A good quality puff feels smooth, erases the shine over my super oily face and it prevents my concealer from moving or creasing. Although I like to use a brush in winters to powder, but in summers, I Need a good puff.

Even if the compact you are using is average, but the puff is good, it does prolong the wear of it! Tried and Tested!

My recent compact purchase was Colorbar Compact. I mentioned in my review how the puff provided by them was not really good quality and could only be used for light coverage. That also meant, it made my super oily skin, very oily within minutes!
I purchased these QVS puff recently and I must say that I love them! They provide a matte look to my face, provides a very good coverage and even when I used it with colorbar compact, I had to retouch my face very less. The oiliness was definitely there after hours, but very minute. I have a fair skin and the oil glands tend to darken and make my skin dull over time. But none of that happened when I used these.
They are very softand also have an adjustment at the back of the puff, so that you don’t have to touch the front of the puff with your hands.
I also wash my puff every 3 days, so that bacteria don’t accumulate.

All in all, I’m very happy with these. Though I wish the price was a little less and these were easily available.

I generally use fingers or brush.. But I agree puff helps in corners and T-zone areas of face

I use puff a lot as they are good for getting a matte finish when you have oily skin. I got a similar puff in my Revlon compact which I love and cant use any other puff or powder brush.
