Deborah Milano Atomic Red Matte Lipstick “05” Review and Swatch

in Lips, Lipstick on 08/05/13

Hey everyone!
Today, I would be reviewing a gorgeous deep red shade.
There are a very few colors that I can actually describe nicely and this is one of them. Deborah Milano Atomic Red Matte Lipstick “05” is a retro based red shade. It has a lot of blue undertones that makes my teeth appear slightly white. But the reason why it also looks good on my warm skin tone is because it also has orange undertones to it.
The texture of this lipstick is a soft matte which I like. I wouldn’t want to wear a glossy finish in this shade as there are chances of bleeding and smudging. This lipstick neither bleeds nor collects at the corner of the lips. I wouldn’t exactly call it drying but it also doesn’t offer any hydration to lips. If you suffer from chapped lips, apply a balm underneath. Put the balm 10 minutes before you apply this lipstick and then, blot it. Go ahead and swipe the lipstick on your lips.I love pairing it up with Benetint lip and cheek stain as the flush looks natural.
I also wear it sometimes with the combo of contour powder and a blush in the same color family dusted lightly on cheeks.
Price: Rs.595
