Today, I’m reviewing a lovely cobalt blue eye pencil shade.
– Maxfactor kohl pencils come with the shade written on the pencil itself and also the shade embossed at the end of the pencil, which makes it easy to locate.
– The texture is not very smooth but not hard either. I don’t have to pull my eye lids to make it work. The other shade “Ice Blue” has a smoother texture compared to this.
– The pigmentation in one swipe is fine, but since it’s buildable, I get a rich shade in 2-3 swipes.
– It stays on my waterline for around 3-4 hours, still not disappearing completely.
– On my eye lids, it stays for more than 7 hours with a very little smudging at the corner of my eyes, which I guess is because of the fact that the corner of my eyes itself are watery.
– The price is decent for the quantity.
* I didn’t show swatch on hand because the swatch wasn’t showing up anything close to accurate.*
I quite like maxfactor eye pencils and if I find more good shades in future, I may buy these again since price is fine.
