Ahaglow Facewash Gel Review And Swatch

in Face wash, Skincare on 08/11/12

Today’s post is about Ahaglow facewash gel review and swatch!

It is the best face wash I have used till date! I am always on the lookout for a scrub which sheds the dead skin cells without causing any breakouts and this has been my best bet on that!

Claims:
1. Rejuvenates the skin by encouraging the shedding of old & dead skin cells.
2. Reduces the number of superficial wrinkles.
3. Improves skin texture and tone.
4. Unblocks and cleanses the pores.

Directions For Use:
Squeeze out required quantity of AHAGLOW on palm and crush millicapsules. Work up lather and massage gently on your wet face and neck in upward circular motion. Rinse off with clean water and pat your face dry. Apply appropriate moisturizer in case of dry skin. For best results use twice a day.

I have a super oily skin type which is also prone to pimples and dry patches. I had been hunting for a scrub that works without stripping of every moisture content from my face. This one was recommended to me by dermatologist and I haven’t looked back since then.

Here are my views on it:

–        Ahaglow skin rejuvenating face wash gel dries out even big pimples the very next day.

–        Since the exfoliating beads are very soft, there’s no abrasive action involved with it. I have an acne prone skin and I find it very gentle.

–        It has never made my skin dry though I always do follow up with a moisturizer. I use water-based moisturizers as they’re light-weight and don’t make my oily skin oilier.

–        It’s easily available at pharmaceuticals and online sites.

–   Since I use it only twice a week, it lasts over 3 months for me. Quite economical!

–        The packaging is very travel-friendly. The cap shuts down properly every time and has never broken.

–        The only drawback which I found is that it stops working for me if used continuously. So, if I don’t have pimples, I use it once a week.

Also, this AHAglow face wash makes a lot of difference in how my skin behaves when I’m wearing full makeup.

If you are on the lookout for a chemical exfoliation which works wonder for acne prone skin and instantly gives a refined look to pores, you must try this out!

I have an acne prone skin and i have recently started using this face wash recommended by one of my friend.Earlier i used d'acne face wash which was also good. It has been 3 days that i have used it and yes my skin feels a little better but i feel my skin is a little red and peeling off.Is this normal?

If your skin is peeling off and getting red, I suggest you to use it only twice a week. Plus always moisturize your skin morning and night, even if you have an oily skin.
This face wash is an exfoliator which removes dead skin cells.
I'm not sure if it's normal or not. But if it persists, I would suggest you to stop using it.
