I have been very loyal to my favourite Maybelline eye and lip makeup remover (Review HERE) and MAC Cleansing Oil (Yet to Review) from past one year but since I spotted it while shopping for basic stuff, I decided to pick this.

My experience with Neutrogena Oil free eye makeup remover:
This comes packed in a transparent plastic bottle without any opener. I didn’t see that the bottle had no opener while I picked it up otherwise I wouldn’t really have bought it. It’s quite a turn off.
This is a dual phase remover like Lakme makeup remover which means the bottle has to be shaken up before it can be used. It removes eye makeup quite efficiently though for waterproof mascara, I need a second round to remove it completely. I don’t have to use a large amount to get off the makeup completely. It removes the makeup gently because of its emollient nature and there’ no dragging involved around the delicate eye area. It doesn’t sting the around eye area but if it gets in your eyes, it does stings a tiny bit. I also use it to remove lip products. For long stay and staining lipsticks, it again requires a little more effort than usual.
But this is a little greasy which again quite a turn off is for me. It’s because when I’m practicing with my eye makeup or I make some mistake while doing my eye makeup, I dip a cotton bud in Maybelline makeup remover and wipe it, which leaves no oily residue. But with using this, I have to powder my eyelids again and again when I’m making mistakes practicing eye makeup. So, I usually have to wait a while doing the steps again. But the quantity makes up for it. Considering the quantity, it’s cheaper than the Maybelline one.
This would have been really nice if it came with a lid and was actually oil free!
