Discussion Saturdays- Body Wash Vs Body Soap

in Makeup, Others, Random on 16/03/13

I started using body washes like some 2 years ago. The reason why I was mainly attracted to them was because of the large varieties in them.  Also, I find them much travel friendly over soaps.

Talking of performance, I feel now-a-days; there are so many varieties in both body wash and soaps, which I feel comparison can’t be made. There are moisturizing soaps as well as moisturizing body washes. There are soaps and body wash both that give a squeaky clean feeling. Also, both of them come in a variety of scents these days.

Talking of environment, Body washes come out mostly in plastic bottles and also, we are paying extra for the water in them.

Now, regarding “Beauty”, both outnumber each other in today’s scenario. There are beautifully packed body washes as well as body soaps. Although, soaps lose their form in a couple of days.

Talking of me, I prefer soap bars more than body washes. This is because I don’t like the process of first squeezing the body wash bottle, then waiting for the product to come out, and doing it again and again. It’s very time consuming for me. Take a soap bar, rub it over and done. Tada! Squeaky clean feeling and refreshing fragrance. Of course, I keep a separate soap for myself because of hygienic reasons.

And, sometimes, when shower gels tempt me too much, I do buy them.

I miss “Yardley Lavendar soap”. It smells heavenly and made my bathing experience absolute delight every time.

So, what do you prefer? Body wash or Body Soap? Got any additional points to make?
