Bright pink lipsticks for fair-medium Indian skin tone
I’m curious. What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about the colour “Pink”? For me, it’s definitely lipsticks.
It’s been a long time since I last did a compilation post for lipsticks. I actually had this post idea in my mind for more than 3 months. And I finally managed to come up with this post- Bright pink lipsticks for fair-medium Indian skin tone.
Let’s get started!
NYX butter lipstick ‘Little Susie’
It’s one of those lipstick I can apply without a mirror too- Dab it in the center and then, smudge it outwards. It doesn’t feel dry and stains lips lightly.
Price: Rs.550
Gina Glam matte lip
The most affordable lip colour in this post! It is a bright blue based pink which applies well but doesn’t stay much unless you use the blotting trick. I recommend this only for those with a light-fair skin tone.
Price: Rs.50
MACQUEEN serum tint lips and lips
It isn’t just a pretty looking product. It also performs well. It goes on smoothly depositing a good amount of color on the lips and lasts for a long time, thanks to its staining property. It’s high-maintenance only in the sense that on dry lips, the color can go uneven and the tint can make the lip lines look more prominent.
I bought it from eBay.
Price: USD 6.99
Maybelline color jolt intense lip paint ‘Vanity violet’
If you don’t like super drying liquid lipsticks but still want a long-lasting matte lip product sans the high maintenance, do check out Maybelline color jolt intense lip paint. It offers the pigmentation of a lipstick and long lasting ability of a lip tint. I hope Maybelline introduces more shades in it.
Price: Rs.450
NYX soft matte lip cream ‘Addis Ababa’
With light snacks and drinks in between, it stays on well for 4+ hours with little fading. When I have to touch up, I just dab on a little lip balm first and then, blot it. Afterwards, I re-apply this.
Price: Around Rs.500
ADS super stay fashion lipstick 68
It doesn’t go on real smooth. I have to apply some pressure lightly and was afraid that the bullet might break but nothing of that sort happened. I went with 2-3 swipes and as you can see in the swatches, it offers more than medium coverage.
Price: I got a set of 6 lipsticks for just Rs.350
L’oreal infallible pro matte gloss ‘Blushing Ambition’
Please ignore this lipstick in here. I included it by mistake 😛
L’oreal lip paint lacquer ‘Darling Pink’
If you have very dry lips, you should love the comfy texture of it. As you can see, it’s a beautiful warm coral pink. It lasts for around 3 hours.
Price: Rs.700
Colorbar matte touch lipstick ‘Fairytale’
This was one of my most used lipsticks and is an easy-to-wear bright shade.
The staying power is amazing. When I first had some snacks and drinks, it just lost its hints of creaminess and the lipstick was still fully deposited on my lips. After some two hours, I had my dinner and then the intensity of the shade wore off a little bit. After that I had some finger licking tasty deserts and it’s only then, that it wore off from centre but still a lot of colour was left. Even after those 3 hours, the lipstick had neither feathered nor settled into my lip lines.
Colorbar Ultimate 8 hours lipstick ‘French Pink’
Another easy-to-wear bright lipstick from Colorbar.
It goes on nicely and does clings to lips for a long time. The intensity isn’t the same as freshly applied after 4 hours but it’s still very much there.
Price: Rs.900
Blue Heaven innocence matte lipstick 15
Most affordable lipsticks have a very strong scent which is very annoying. Thankfully, this one doesn’t. It does have a faint smell but it goes away within some minutes of applying it. Surprisingly, I had to drag the lipstick very faintly to saturate my lips with colour. Depending on what you eat/drink, Blue Heaven innocence matte lipstick shade 15 can last anywhere between 3-4 hours.
Price: Rs.140
Streetwear color rich ultra moisture lipstick persian blush
It has a rich colour intensity and gets completely opaque in two swipes. I had snacks and drinks with it on after an hour of wearing it and it wore off only a little from the middle. I re touched and it stayed further for more than 3.5 hours with very less fading.-review-and-swatches.html
Price: Rs.180
Iba Halal long stay matte lipstick ‘Pink Orchid’
This comes more of a raspberry pink on my skintone. It has a semi-matte texture, smooth consistency and covers the natural color of lips completely by offering a full coverage. It lasts for 5-6 hours and doesn’t turn flaky by the passage of time. If you are allergic to parabens, good news is that this range is paraben-free!
Price: Rs.350
Makeup Revolution lip hug lipstick ‘Present has no living’
I have reviewed this lipstick in another shade on blog- I think you’re amazing. The texture is very soft and glides on lips like butter. It’s light-weight and comfortable to wear throughout the day.
Price: Rs.650
Maybelline color show creamy matte ‘Flaming Fuchsia’
There are lipsticks which receive a bad rating on my blog and yet I find myself reaching for them often because of the shade. This is one of them for me. The fuchsia shade is super pretty and it stays for long. But I never wear it without exfoliating my lips.
Price: Rs.450
NYX matte lipstick ‘Shocking Pink
The formula is very smooth and non-drying. It glides onto lips softly without any tug or pull. It is not a hard matte lipstick which is why even after having applied it for more than 3 hours; I was still able to smile easily. It is because it has a pinch of moisture, so they it’s comfortable to wear. The staying power is remarkable! It stays on for more than 6+ hours almost fully, with light snacks and drinks in between. Even after it fades, it leaves a strong tint behind.
Price: Rs.625
Lakme enrich lip crayon ‘Pink Burst’
It is beautiful magenta shade which will work for a variety of skin tones. It applies well, doesn’t feel uncomfortable and lasts for a good amount of time because of its staining properties. Try it if you’re after an affordable lip shade for dark skin (especially) in the market.
Price: Rs.180
