My experience with Sivanna Colors Ultra Blush Palette 04:
Juggling a blog with a full time job isn’t easy. One has to devote a considerable amount of time in getting accurate swatches, good quality pictures and testing the products out. I’m glad that these blush palettes were worth my time.
Packaging: All the blush palettes comes in a see through packaging with illustrations drawn on the cardboard box. This one is no exception. You can find the ingredients list and the shade number mentioned at the back of the cover. The actual blush palette feels quite sturdy and has a transparent lid with the brand name mentioned on it.
Texture: The texture is silky smooth however they do have a slightly chalky feel. They also kick up excess product when you swipe a brush on them- nothing major though. Most of them blend easily without taking a lot of efforts. The highlighter is an exception here. While the highlighter shade in all the Sivanna blush palettes is unflattering for olive skin, this one in particular is a bad even at blending.
Pigmentation: On my light skin tone, it takes only one swipe to get a nice even layer of color. The color payoff is buildable so you can adjust the intensity according to your skin tone. It’s only with the 1st and 6th shade that I faced problems getting an even finish.
Staying power: It varies with different shades. The bright ones last longer than the subtle ones. Overall, I do not see any signs of fading on my oily skin before 4 hours. They look decent even after 6 hours of wear in this humid weather.
Shades: Sivanna Colors Ultra Blush Palette 04 has a mix of matte, satin and pearly shades. The first shade is a complete miss as it is sheer and doesn’t build up.
I see this affordable blush palette getting a lot of love from light and medium skin tones. It’s not a bad palette for those with darker skin tones but there will be definitely be a need for layering. And of course, all the shades aren’t going to work on darker skin tones (a max of 4 shades, maybe).
Sivanna should definitely come up with a palette which consists of blushes for dark skin. It would be one amazing investment!
Also, I find some shades in 02 and 04 palette to be almost the same on my skin tone. If I had to choose between one of them, I would go with ’02’.
Summary:
Sivanna Colors Ultra Blush Palette 04 is good-quality affordable makeup palette in India. Get it to experiment with different shades without breaking your bank or to have a palette which covers your basic needs. The packaging is sleek and sturdy. You can mix and match the colors depending on your preferences. Also, the colors don’t evaporate quickly under the humid weather which makes it even more tempting.
