After my stint with Sivanna Colors blush palette in shade ’03’, I decided to try out the other shades too. When I reviewed that palette, I was particularly excited for trying the shade ’01’ because it seemed to consist of beautiful orange blushes for Indian skin. And I’m glad I wasn’t proved wrong! Out of all the 4 shades, this one has been the best quality wise! Here’s my review for Sivanna Colors Ultra Blush Palette 01.

My experience with Sivanna Colors Ultra Blush Palette 01:
Packaging: All the blush palettes comes in a see through packaging with illustrations drawn on the cardboard box. This one is no exception. You can find the ingredients list and the shade number mentioned at the back of the cover. The actual blush palette feels quite sturdy and has a transparent lid with the brand name mentioned on it.
Texture: I find the texture of all the blushes soft with the exception of the first one. It feels a bit chalky. These are also quite powdery. Hence, it’s important that you tap your brush before putting it on your cheeks. They blend easily and don’t require much efforts.
Pigmentation: For the top row, the color payoff is good and for the bottom row, the color payoff is amazing. The intensity can easily build up as per your skin tone. It’s best to start with a light hand otherwise you can overdo it.
Shades: Sivanna Colors Ultra Blush Palette 01 consists of shades which have to be the best affordable blushes for olive skin. They work well as eyeshadows too with a base and primer underneath! From coral reds to burnt rust to peachy bronze, there’s a blush for every skin tone. Even the shades which look shimmery in the pan give a beautiful luminous finish on the cheeks, except for two which pack quite a lot of golden shimmers on cheeks. I, therefore, avoid them on my oily skin as they tend to exaggerate my pore size. My only gripe is the unflattering highlighter shade. You can get use out of it on your cheekbones as per your preference or under your eyebrows. But had it been a perfect highlighter for Indian skin, this palette would have definitely scored full points.

Staying power: Most of them stay for over 5 hours on my oily skin in this humid weather which is pretty impressive. Some do have a tendency to fade in an uneven manner but it’s hardly noticeable.
Summary:
Sivanna Ultra Colors Blush Palette 01 is the best affordable blush palette in India Sivanna Ultra Colors Blush Palette 01 at a price tag of Rs.599. Couple that with the good quality it offers. The texture is not perfect but for the price it comes at, I’m not complaining. The price actually keeps fluctuating between Rs.525-Rs.599. The shades are a beautiful match for fair skin as well as medium skin tone. As for people with dark skin, 2-3 shades are going to be a miss. Nonetheless, the palette is pretty amazing!
This palette is a proof that affordable cosmetics do not always mean bad quality. I think this is one amazing palette especially for brides to be.
