When Photographing Lipsticks, Take Care of This!

Although this post mainly caters to beauty bloggers, non-bloggers can also read it to find out what happens behind a photo shoot. I mean, 20% of it. Plus, you may feel like becoming a blogger one day and sharing your bit of knowledge with others. This post might come in handy then. You never know!

Okay! Going back to the topic..

Are you saying this right now:

So you pick your lipstick, pull it open to show the bullet, put it on a surface, start clicking pics, what’s the worst that could happen?

This! This could happen!

How?

Damn the winds (I take pics in my balcony)that decide to come out of nowhere as soon as I pull out the lipstick’s cap and place it on the sheet. Before I can even realize what has happened, my heart lipstick is already broken.

Imagine welcoming a new lipstick in your vanity. It may or not may not be expensive but of course, that doesn’t change your feelings for it. If it’s a new launch, you may even have travelled from one mall to another because you couldn’t wait! Then, you either lost it or it broke!

If you can’t relate with it, feel free to relate with your favourite food. I’m not mean o_O

Obviously, there are ways to fix this problem (maybe I can do a post on it) but it just doesn’t feel or look new. Ahem! Please take this post as how to prevent this in the first place.

What’s the solution for it?

All you need is a tape!

Just double-tape the bottom of the lipstick and never worry again about the wind breaking your wings..I mean lipstick.

If you like to use sheets like me, you need to tape them properly too.

Yes, the sheet will get a little spoiled in this process but what do you prefer: Damaged sheets or damaged lipsticks? The choice is yours! Wow! I sound like a philosopher.

Anyhoo, hope you found this useful. Could you relate to it? How do you deal with it?
