Will You Buy a Lipstick Worth Rs 6000?

I didn’t feel like writing ‘priced at’. After all, it’s not a regular brand!

When Christian Louboutin lipsticks got launched, I remember ogling at them for hours and realizing how they were the perfect fusion of fashion and beauty. Their price tags sprouted a whirlwind of emotions within me. I wondered if I was ready to make the move, swipe the card and sacrifice on junk food for at least 4 months. I imagined how it would feel unpacking the lipstick, opening the box, seeing it in real and holding the prized possession in my hands. To be honest, I had mixed feelings. I wasn’t sure of giving a green flag to my friend for buying it on my behalf. I didn’t have any answer.

As quoted by ‘Neil deGrasse Tyson’, “It’s ok not to know all the answers.” So, I left it at that.

One thing I know for sure before making an investment in this lipstick is that I want to see it in real. If I get lucky some day, I’ll surely take my chance.

I found it while casually browsing on Flipkart. I saw it and I was amazed! It’s not the first time I saw a dupe of a beauty product on the website look-wise but this time, I was stunned. I saw the price “Rs.450” which felt a little high considering it’s a look-alike. But I went ahead and bought it.

The brand has done a decent job for the packaging part. And, you know what? The shade name is called ‘Lady danger’. When I read the name, I nearly fell off my chair. Hope you enjoy the pics ^_^

As far as the performance is concerned, I haven’t tested it. Although I can tell you the bullet smells strongly of mogra. If you’re a sucker for Mogra-jasmine based scents, you’ll find yourself opening the lipstick just to smell it few times a day. Ahem ahem!

I have include a picture of the shade below. While swiping it, the texture felt moderately soft. I’m pretty sure that I can use this lipstick as a blush too.

Will you buy the iconic Christian Louboutin lipstick if you get the chance to? Or will you prefer spending that much amount on some other stuff?
