New launches always get me excited. And if they are launched at decent price tags, it’s all the more fun!
However, the annoying thing about Elle18 is the availability of their products. When these Elle18 Color Boost lipsticks got launched, they were all over the television and on banners outside mall and on road. I first saw them HERE. For complete 4 months, I couldn’t find them online or in the cosmetic shops nearby my home. It’s only this month that I found them in a shop and now they are available online on Purplle website too. Why do you do this Elle18? Why?

My experience with Elle18 Color Boost lipsticks:
The packaging is bright pink and black with a cartoon girl drawn on it. The material is quite flimsy which means you need to be careful while travelling with them. The cap shuts down tightly every time.
They score a lot better than the Elle18 color burst lipsticks (Review HERE, HERE, HEREand HERE) in all aspects. They have a soft and creamy texture and glide smoothly on lips. The colored creamy core in the bullet only adds to the softness of the texture.
They go opaque in two swipes itself without creating any patchiness. However if you go past 3 swipes; you will notice a little unevenness which you can always sort out by pressing your lips or by using your fingers. They aren’t really light-weight lipsticks but I was also not bothered by their presence on my lips. They are quite comfortable to wear. As long as they sit on my lips, they keep them hydrated.
“Coral Nude, 05” is almost a *ude coral shade which looks best suited for fair and wheatish skin tones. After an hour or so, it does settles into lip lines but not in a very unflattering manner. Without any snacks, it stays on for around 1.5 hours which is pretty cool.
“Superlicious Red, 10” is a beautiful medium toned red shade with heavy pink undertones. It stays on for 2.5-3 hours plus with snacks and drinks in between. It loses its intensity in that period but a lot of color is still left on my lips.
All in all, I’m loving these Elle18 Color Boost lipsticks! And with this, they earn a place for themselves in “Rs.300 and Under Good Indian Makeup Products” HERE.
