The first Indian Limited edition collection I wanted to lay my hands on and could also afford to! I am right, right?

Yes, I am right! :D/
I agree that I have many makeup products beautiful than these in my vanity. But for the first time I have seen lipsticks like these. They impact a look of jelly from inside and I have to resist biting them. See the image below where I gave into temptation a little and squeezed the balm a bit to see what would happen. And the result is front of your eyes. And then when I bought the lipsticks, I also fell for the beautiful blush.
Beginning with lipsticks,
Chambor Claims: This lipstick offers a pop of colour on the lips, keeping them moisturized. The colour is provided by the gloss core while the shine and hydration is boosted by the clear outer balm. Smoothens the lip lines, improves dryness and peeling.
My experience with them:
I could not decide on one and therefore bought both. Plus I only had 10 minutes to check out this collection and buy them. The lipsticks are packed in a cardboard box with hues of blue, green and white. They are housed in a glossy teal packaging and the cap shuts down easily every time. Plus they are light-weight.
Now look at the insides! How unique, right? The lipstick is surrounded by a transparent balmy core which actually looks like plastic but isn’t. Plus, Chambor is written on the tube. As expected, the texture is gentle but you have to drag it around lips a bit. There’s no harshness while doing that. You know how you have to swipe on tinted lip balms 2-3 times to build on the opacity. It’s the same case with them. They feel like balm and with 2-3 swipes, they give a full coverage on my non-pigmented lips which was a surprise for me as I wasn’t expecting that. However for pigmented lips, the opacity might be a bit lower than full coverage. The plus point here is that they hardly feel sticky. They will keep your lips moisturized for as long as they are on your lips. The only annoying thing for me is their artificial scent.
The staying power is disappointing for me but I’m not counting that against Chambor as they made no such claims (Thank You!). They last for 3+ hours on their own but transfer easily with snacks and drinks in between. I tried them on top of some other lipsticks but there wasn’t a quite noticeable difference with regard to this area.
Both the shades are super pretty and apt for our warm skin tones as they are deep yet brighten up face. I like the berry pink ( Ice berries) more. Although currently I am not suffering from dry lips, I do face them if I wear lipsticks for a whole week. I wore these continuously for a week (alternating between shades) and my lips felt only a little parched. Whoa!
Besides the brilliant concept, the two reasons why you might like to try these lipsticks:
– – Tinted lip balms with a beautiful color pay off
– – Shades should work for your skin tone

Moving to blush,
What Chambor Says About This: Ultra fine powder glides on and blends easily to provide a moist flawless natural finish.Silky smooth texture in matte and shimmering shades.Natural healthy looking colour that immediately enlivens the complexion.
My experience with Chambor Blush “Mermaid”:
If you are a regular reader of my blog, you will know my love for peach shades. Upon seeing their press release, I had planned on getting the peach version only. But when I swatched it in store, I found it too sheer and knew it would not last long for my skin. And then, I decided to check out this other shade which in my head was going with quite a lot of deep lipsticks and I am glad!
Again, the blush comes in a gorgeous reflective teal packaging with Chambor’s logo on it. More brands here need to do it. It’s like nameless packaging is trending here. Don’t you think so too? The small brush provided in it was used by me to blend the blush on my hand while swatching it. Do not use it on face. It’s scratchy and won’t even blend your blush properly.
The matte finishblush has a bit powdery texture but nothing bothersome and it is smooth. I hardly need to put in efforts to blend it as it does so easily. I need two swipes of it and I am done, which means it’s well pigmented at the first go itself. So start with a lesser amount at first. But If I know I have to travel far, I put on three swipes. I always do this as I have a super oily skin and after a bit, the pigmentation gets boiled down due to my oily glands. With a primer, it lasts for more than 6 hours on my skin which is really good. On normal-combination skin, it should last for longer.
I am pretty happy with it!
