After I tried Benefits’ “They’re real” mascara, I didn’t think any drugstore mascara could come close to it. But this mascara from L’oreal proved me wrong. I wonder why I didn’t try it before.

My experience with it:
To start with, since I have thin eyelashes; I don’t like mascaras with a wet formula. They tend to pull my lashes down. I start to use mascaras after some days of opening them. That way I find the formula more appropriate. It’s not wet and it’s not dry.
The wand separates the eyelashes beautifully, owing to its large number of tiny bristles. However, a lot of product gets collected at the tip which needs to be wiped out. The mascara gives length as well as volume to the lashes. Also as claimed, it actually gives out a fanned-out effect. The lashes look neatly structured defined. The mascara is jet black in color, which is another reason to like it more. It also holds the curl effect for a pretty good 6-7 hours.
There are hardly any clumps formed with this mascara as the formula is a bit creamy. Although this mascara is not waterproof; I haven’t had any smudging issues with it. But the real test will be in summers when heat is at its peak. I’ll update this post then. As of for now, I’m loving it!
*I have applied mascara on lower lashes and on upper lashes, from middle till end.*
