My experience:
The packaging of this lipstick is beautiful. The pink cap reflects rainbow lines at different angles which make it really attractive to see it again and again. The lipstick name and shade comes with a label, that is pasted at the bottom of the lipstick and the sticker quality is good. It still hasn’t come out, got old or got damaged.
If you have a fair skin tone and are looking for a pink lipstick to go with your festive outfits, then dig your eyes into this! The shade is a lovely light pinky red shade with a frost finish. I wouldn’t call the frost finish a high level that looks tacky. It’s subtle and has tiny shimmers within it. The shimmers are not gritty and are distributed evenly within it. The texture is very light and moisturizing. My dry lips do not need a lip balm with it underneath and it keeps my lips moisturized as long as it stays on. After it wears off, I do reach for my lip balm. It just glides really smooth on my lips. Also, it kind of fills in the lip lines. See in lip swatches how it gives a smooth finish on my lips, blurring the lip lines to a good extent.
As you can see, the finish is shiny and real polished. I need 2-3 swipes to get an opaque pigmentation on my lips. I think this is due to its frosty texture. The previous lipstick which I tried from its range (Review HERE) went on opaque in a single swipe only. Being a moisturizing lipstick, it stays on me for more than 4 hours which is pretty good. It does not leave any stain behind. And, thankfully, it does not even leave any shimmers behind. That would have been really irritating then.
In short,
– The texture is light and moisturizing! It glides on like butter on my lips.
– The finish is shiny and glossy. It’s hydrating on lips as long as it stays on.
– The staying power is good too! It stays on for more than 4 hours. It does not stain. And, it does not even bleeds being a moisturizing lipstick.
– 2-3 swipes are needed to get full opacity (maybe due to the frost finish)
– The striking packaging is a total love!
