CP, Delhi is one place where I never ever get bored of going. If I don’t visit it once a month, it feels like something is missing in my life. The streets are always buzzing and there’s always one new shop which I manage to find. That new shop then manages to almost bankrupt me! You can find fabulous bags here at fabulous prices. I can keep on walking on the streets there and still not get bored (given I’m not hungry). There’s something in the air here which reminds me of New York!
Recently, I and my friend visited “Caffe Tonino” at CP. And, we loved it!! I am an Italian food lover. It felt like a mini cafe in Greece. It’s on first floor and the stairs leading us were all white. The staff was extremely courteous and smiling all the time when attending (not in a creepy way!). I mostly walk out of restaurants after ten minutes if the staff is pushy or throws unwanted attitude. With little time to spare for exploring now (job and blog), I would hate ending up somewhere where I don’t enjoy.
The ambience was serene. We took our seats besides a window. It was lovely. Low volume music was being played, which meant we could easily converse without any disturbance. The food arrived pretty quickly. We ordered 6 things: provenzale pizza, Lasagne con zucca e spinacci, Virgin Mojito (super refreshing!), Flourless chocolate cake, Cappuccino and Caffe Mocha. All of them were delicious, especially the lasagnia! It was very cheesy and the vegetable in it just balanced the taste.
Posting a few pictures of the food and restaurant:
*Scrumptious food*
*Don’t curse me if you look at this at night and can’t go out to eat it :P*
And, Pose Time! @_@
The biker jacket you see here, has a long inspiring story behind it. It tells why one should never give up hope! More on it later.
Are you an Italian food lover? Any restaurant you recommend?
Any plans for New Year? I don’t have any.. Over hyped day according to me -_- But what about you?
