Hey everyone!
Today I’m going to review a highlighter, with which I get glow more than I get by drinking 8 glasses of water a day.
What it is:
A soft, golden pink, liquid-pearl highlighter.
A soft, golden pink, liquid-pearl highlighter.
What it does:
For a delectable glow, fancy up with this golden-pink liquid pearl luminizer. Its sheer, light-reflecting formula in a fresh, raspberry scent glides on smoothly for a breathtakingly radiant complexion. Wear it alone for a youthful dewy glow, or over makeup for lustrous “pearlessence.”
What else you need to know:
This product contains moisturizing sesame seed oil and skin-soothing raspberry, chamomile, and sweet almond seed extract to improve skin firmness and smoothness.
How to apply
Pat & blend over makeup for eye-catching luminescence. Wondering how much to apply? One twist for subtle sheen…two or more for dewy radiance.
My experience with Benefit girl meets pearl highlighter:
– Benefit girl meets pearl highlighter is a pinkish golden highlighter. It’s a cream based highlighter with pink tint containing very fine gold shimmer.
– The shimmers in it don’t just sit on the top of your face, making a gritty appearance and making your pore size much more obvious.
– It gives a very natural gleaming glow to the face!
– The texture is really light and blends easily into the skin. It’s non-oily.
– It stays on for more than 6 hours.
– I have used this sample size for more than 7-8 times and still a lot is left. I can make that out because it still comes quickly out of the tube. Moreover, a little is needed every time unless you are planning to look like a disco ball.
– It has not broken me out.
– This will work beautifully for pale-fair-medium skin tones. Although I’m not sure for dusky skin tone but it may work because of the gorgeous gold shimmer.
How I use it:
More than using it as a highlighter, I like to use it mixed within my foundation. Because then it actually makes me glow. I have large open pores and even though the shimmer in this is real decent, my pores still are highlighted a little (tiny!) due to it. And, I don’t like to use anything that makes my pores more noticeable, even in the slightest way. I have even used it mixed within my moisturizer and it still made me glow, in a very subtle manner of course. If you are using it as a highlighter, take a pea sized amount and rub it on your cheeks, tip of nose, on brow bone. Don’t tap it; rub it to see a gorgeously lit golden glow.

Final thoughts:
If you are looking for a highlighter that delivers a natural lit glow, without any grainy shimmers sitting on the top of your skin, you should totally check this out! For me, it’s more of a primer that delivers a glow to my face.
VCB Rating: 4.5/5
This smaller sized highlighter is a part of this KIT. I brought it from Sephora,Delhi.
