I am really liking Avon India for introducing new products every now and then and coming to makeup products, I’m really liking the new shades ranging from nudes to corals.
These rubies lipsticks have been introduced by Avon India some 1-2 months back and I ordered one.
“Noble Nude” is a beautiful coral nude shade with hints of pink and has magenta shimmers. The texture is very smooth and glides easily even on my now-a-days dry lips. I have never experienced a stretchy feeling with this lipstick. The magenta shimmers are barely visible when worn and can be noticed only on close inspection. These shimmers impart a certain shine to the lips. The lipstick wears for more than 3-4 hours without any eating/drinking and even when it wears off, the scene’s not like you are left with shimmers on your lips. Otherwise it looks really gritty!
The pigmentation is definitely buildable. So, you can play with the intensity. This shade is great for fair skin tones though I doubt if it would go with medium skin tone.
The only reason I think I won’t be buying more shades from this range is because of the magenta shimmers present in it. Though they are barely visible, I don’t why it still irks me. I just don’t like these magenta shimmers spoiling even a bit of this beautiful shade. But then you never know a girls mind! Maybe be one more shade if it again on a discount for Rs.250. Decisions Decisions! 😛
In short, it’s a shade that appropriate even for office wear, has a good staying power and a shade that can be adjusted for its color payoff intensity. Buy it if you don’t mind the magenta shimmers.
