Oh Lord!! I had such a hard time capturing this particular shade on my camera. After taking atleast 20 shots of this shade where in came blue in all, after those shots did it come purple in 3-4 shots. But ‘m glad, at least the original shade came captured.
I have reviewed Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in shade ‘Bold Gold’ previously which was a disappointment due to its dry texture and I’m disappointed again with this particular shade. Why?
Well, it lacks pigmentation! It applies unevenly! The texture is again dry. This makes blending it really hard!
What’s good is once set, it remains unfaded or unsmudged. I have tested it for more than 10 hours and it didn’t budge at all. So, it’s great in the staying power department- as an eyeliner.
Instead of using it as an eye base, I like to use it as an eyeliner with an angular brush but I have to make 3-4 swipes with it.
Since the color is so pretty, a real bright purple; it has got space on my main vanity table.
